Dr. Barun Pratiher completed his B.E in Mechanical from Jalpaiguri Govt. Engineering Collage, (University of North Bengal) and M.E in Engineering Mechanics from Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology, Howrah,W.B, India (Formerly known as Bengal Engineering Collage). Subsequently, Mr. Pratiher completed his Ph.D. in 2009 specialization with “Vibration and Nonlinear Dynamics” from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Mr. Pratiher worked as Lecturer in BITS, Pilani during Jan-May, 2009. Then, Dr. Pratiher moved to IIT-ISM, Dhanbad as an Assistant Professor till to June 2011. Since July 2011, Dr. Pratiher has been working as an assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur, India.
